Position Overview:

Golda Och Academy is seeking an organized and dependable Administration Specialist to support the daily operations of the Upper School office. This position plays an important role in helping the school run smoothly by providing administrative support to the Principal, assisting students and families, and managing a variety of office functions.

The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple tasks in a busy school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Upper School Principal's calendar, appointments, and meeting schedules.
  • Answer and direct calls received through the Upper School main office.
  • Welcome visitors and assist with sign-in procedures while coordinating with campus security as needed.
  • Support student sign-in and sign-out processes.
  • Maintain the student Chromebook loaner program.
  • Coordinate student locker assignments.
  • Maintain student records and assist with file management and archiving.
  • Digitize student files when students leave the school.
  • Track student detentions and technology-related infractions and maintain associated records.
  • Maintain the test make-up binder and related documentation.
  • Create and update office forms, including timesheets, dismissal forms, and other commonly used documents.
  • Maintain the school phone directory.
  • Order and restock office supplies, copy paper, coffee supplies, and other office necessities.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate maintenance of office equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of administrative experience in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
