Madison Country Day School, a PreK-12 International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, is seeking a creative educator for the 2026-27 school year to serve as a full-time high school IB Math teacher.
Applicants should bring not only a passion for math but also a genuine enthusiasm for working with adolescents and a desire to grow alongside an evolving school while advancing their own professional expertise.

The successful candidate will:
- Work within a collaborative Math department
- Have experience with or a willingness to learn both the IB Higher Level Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches and the AP Statistics curricula
- Serve as a high school advisor
- Be comfortable teaching skills, including critical problem-solving, questioning, and researching
- Be expected to contribute to the school’s extracurricular offerings, with preference given to applicants who have worked with Science Olympiad
- Have the ability to design and facilitate rigorous, empowering lesson plans that are student-centered and thought-provoking
- Have intellectual curiosity and a desire to spark a love of learning in students
- Have excellent communication skills, a genuine appreciation of adolescents, a sense of humor, and the ability to work well within a collaborative environment
- A belief in the intrinsic relationship between social-emotional learning and culturally responsive pedagogy.
