The Military Leadership Mentor is the primary developer of leaders in the Corps of Cadets at Culver Military Academy. They assist each cadet assigned in balancing and integrating the requirements of the physical, military, academic, moral, ethical and spiritual programs. A Military Mentor supervises, trains and coaches the cadet chain of command to establish and sustain high unit standards and behavior essential to a cohesive Battalion/Company environment. They inspire cadets to develop effective leadership styles through role modeling, counseling, teaching and training. Requirements

  • Assist cadets in balancing and integrating the requirements of the physical, military, academic, moral, ethical and spiritual programs.
  • Supervise, train and coach the cadet chain of command to establish and sustain high unit standards and behavior.
  • Develop and present formal and informal instruction to the Battalion/Company.
  • Role model, counsel, teach and train cadets to develop effective leadership styles.
