Tampa Prep is currently seeking a full-time Upper School mathematics instructor for the 2026-2027 academic year who can teach the advanced courses of a high school curriculum (Algebra 2 through Calculus--even AP Statistics) and, possibly, serve as a Department Chair.
Ideal candidates would be eager to collaborate with colleagues, dedicated to creating student-centered programming (familiarity with Peter Liljedahl’s approaches in "Building Thinking Classrooms" is an asset), proficient in their discipline, interested in the social and developmental needs of high school students, facile with an iPad, and able to contribute to extracurricular activities.
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in mathematics, mathematics education, or a related field.
