Work cooperatively as a member of your teaching team
Participate in all camp activities with a smile and a positive attitude
Be on time and maintain a good attendance record
Attend Summer at NCRC Orientation on June 8th
Bring a solution-oriented attitude to all problems
Maintain a positive, happy attitude toward all members of the NCRC community
Report to the Director of Auxiliary Programs on any issues pertaining to the students or classroom
Classroom Expectations:
Engage happily and constructively with children.
Provide and maintain a classroom environment that helps children feel emotionally comfortable and safe
Keep your classroom organized, clean and inviting; display children’s work; help keep all areas of the school looking nice
Appropriately guide and redirect children as necessary over the course of the camp day
Curriculum Expectations:
Develop engaging, child-centered, play-based curriculum for summer fun and learning
Provide art activities that emphasize the exploratory process rather than the product; minimize stencils and teacher-made cut-outs
