McLean School, a K-12 co-educational independent school in Potomac, Maryland, seeks applicants for the Head Coach for Grades 9-12 Cross Country position to begin August 2026.

The Head Coach for Grades 9-12 Cross Country is responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and directing the Cross Country Program.
This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics, Coaching, and Mentoring.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Head Coach for Cross Country at the college or club-level, effective written and oral communication skills, a connection to the youth and local cross country community, an ability to build relationships and work well with others, and a sharp perspective on the role of athletics in the educational experience.
