About Summer at Rocky Hill
Summer at Rocky Hill offers children entering nursery through grade 12 a summer of exploration, creativity, and community on our 84-acre waterfront campus along Narragansett Bay. Our specialty camps are designed to give young learners focused, memorable experiences in areas that excite their curiosity and build real skills.
About These Camps
Rocky Hill Country Day School is looking for an enthusiastic and creative instructor to lead two one-week, half-day STEAM specialty camps for students entering grades 1 through 4.
Fairy Tale STEAM uses classic stories as a starting point for hands-on discovery. Each day, a different narrative adventure inspires campers to solve challenges, engineer inventions, and bring beloved tales to life through science, technology, art, and mathematics. Working together, students transform familiar stories into creative learning experiences that build both imagination and critical thinking.
Superhero STEAM invites campers to design their own heroic universe from the ground up. Using science, mathematics, technology, and art as their tools, students collaborate on projects and solve problems as they bring their superhero visions to life. The week builds confidence, creativity, and real STEAM skills through playful, purposeful work.
