Rocky Hill Country Day School seeks a highly qualified 5th Grade Teacher.

Teachers are expected to:

• Engage in inquiry-based pedagogy, including project-based learning and other experiential approaches, and embed mindfulness practices into the classroom experience. Knowledge of these approaches is beneficial, and a willingness to develop them is essential.
• Foster a classroom culture that values collaboration, curiosity, and mutual respect.
• Differentiate classroom instruction to address varied learning profiles.
• Develop healthy, supportive relationships with students and their families.
• Eagerly collaborate with RHCD community members.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
• Possess a commitment to equity, belonging, and professional growth.

• Master's degree in Elementary Education or related field.
• Teaching certification in Rhode Island.
• Proven track record of teaching 5th grade students.
• Experience with project-based learning and mindfulness practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
