We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to form part of our North East Metro Community Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (NEMCADS) on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting directly to the Clinical Services Manager, the Team Leader will work within a dynamic and supportive team environment.

The key focus areas of this position are to:

  • Provide effective line management and coaching to a team of 10–15 Counsellors, mainly based in the Midland office, who deliver services to individuals and families affected by alcohol and other drug issues.
  • Manage rostering and other HR functions in collaboration with senior management and executive leadership.
  • Monitor service quality, consistency and compliance with contractual and organisation requirements.
  • Assist in the identification of service gaps and contribute to service development and continuous improvement.
  • Develop effective collaborative working relationships with stakeholders and promote Holyoake services to the broader community.
  • Contribute to the development of reports and data to relevant funding bodies and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and management skills with experience in team management and coaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, stakeholders and the broader community.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a strong focus on service quality and delivery.
  • Knowledge of the alcohol and other drug sector and experience working with vulnerable populations.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address service gaps.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to service development and continuous improvement.
