Elementary and Middle School Counselor
Santa Fe School for the Arts & Sciences, an expeditionary learning school, is seeking an experienced, dynamic, collaborative school counselor to work part or full-time with our school and community.
The successful candidate will understand the developmental needs of children (ages 3-14), using their knowledge to promote the school's character traits of compassion, courage, respect, trust, honesty and stewardship. Energy, compassion, and humor will be key traits to accomplish the job.
Our school counselor works with many age groups and classes on our campus. The counselor works closely with our staff, administration, and families to support children in their academic and social growth. Our teachers are committed to the social emotional development of every child, which is at the core of the teaching and learning here at Arts & Sciences. Therefore, the ideal candidate must have experience working within a school community.
