Emma Willard School seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Instructor for a teaching position starting as soon as possible in the 2026-2027 academic school year.
The instructor should be prepared to teach a combination of computer science and traditional mathematics courses, collaborating regularly with other members of the Math Department.
The ideal candidate is able to teach a variety of math courses from foundational to advanced and uses creative and innovative teaching practices to bring out the best in each student.
The Math faculty use a variety of tools and techniques, including but not limited to experiential learning and reflection practices, to help students be confident in learning mathematics.
Dedication to the holistic wellness of students is essential, as is comfort in frequent communication with students’ advisors and parents.
