Description

Charles Wright Academy is a co-educational, non-religious, independent school located in University Place, WA.

We are seeking a Middle School Humanities Faculty member to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Details:

  • Reports to: Middle School Director
  • Supervises: N/A
  • Additional Terms:
    • Exempt, 10-month faculty position
    • Occasional travel and ability to drive required for attendance at community events, professional development, and the occasional chaperoning of student activities

Requirements

  • Teach 7th and 8th grade History or English courses
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curricula
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development
  • Attend community events, professional development, and student activities as required
