About the School:

The Lab School of Washington works with students entering grades 1–12 who have been diagnosed with a language-based learning difference such as dyslexia, or a specific learning difference in reading, math, or writing. Many of our students also benefit from our focused work on executive functioning skills. Some of our students may have a secondary diagnosis of ADHD. A Lab education focuses on students' strengths, interests, and passions and provides an experiential and multi-sensory approach to learning. The majority of Lab's graduating seniors move directly to college.

About the Position

The Lab School of Washington is seeking a skilled, organized, empathetic, and detail-oriented Administrative & Operations Manager to support our dynamic TRG Team. The Reservoir Group consists of occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers, and speech-language pathologists who provide clinical services to Lab students and students from other schools in the greater DC area. In this role, you will support daily operations, ensuring that our therapists and clinicians can focus on delivering exceptional client services.

Division: The Reservoir Group at The Lab School of Washington

Location: 4759 Reservoir Road, NW, Washington, DC

Type of Opportunity: Immediate Opening on a Full-time, 12-month, in-person basis; Work hours will consist of an eight-hour workday scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with specific start and end times determined by departmental, programmatic, and operational needs

Compensation Range: Annual salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 commensurate with experience

Requirements

  • Support daily operations of the TRG Team.
  • Ensure therapists and clinicians can focus on delivering exceptional client services.
  • Organize and coordinate administrative tasks.
  • Develop and implement efficient systems and processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Collaborate with the TRG Team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
