Kent Place School is seeking a full-time Visual Arts educator to teach students in grades 9-12. We believe that creativity is an essential skill for all students. In an ever-changing world, our graduates must be equipped to solve complex problems, analyze the world through multiple perspectives, and remain adaptable. We are seeking an educator who doesn't just teach 'art,' but teaches students how to think, innovate, and lead through the visual expression and communication. We are looking for a candidate who is as comfortable with a paintbrush as they are with a digital stylus, and who would look forward to collaborating with visual arts colleagues as well as the broader community.
This is a dynamic role designed for a versatile artist-educator. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of courses, transitioning between long-term mentorship and fast-paced, trimester-based explorations. Opportunities to lead specialized courses such as Architecture, Ethics and the Arts, Graphic Design, and Animation may exist.
