Garrison Forest School is seeking an experienced, creative and dynamic individual for a full-time faculty position in our Middle School as the Learning Specialist and Curriculum Coordinator commencing August 2026.

The Learning Specialist and Curriculum Coordinator is part of the Middle School Administrative Team, working closely with the Head of the Middle School, Dean of Students, Counselor, and Digital Learning Specialist along with specialists in the Boyce Center for Learning and Thriving.

The candidate will be joining a community of collegial faculty members working together to build a hands-on, relevant curriculum that delivers a high quality program.

Ideal candidates will be interested in preparing our students to live and work in a global and multicultural society.

A desire to contribute to the leadership and scholarship of young women are important qualities for this position, as well as an ability to build positive, constructive relationships with students.

The annual salary range for this position is $55,000-$75,000 based on years of experience and education level; the exact compensation will be discussed during the hiring process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Garrison Forest Middle School seeks a full-time Learning Specialist and Curriculum Coordinator who can support and promote the mission and philosophy of the School.

Duties and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Work closely with students both individually and in small groups to offer additional academic support and enrichment.
  • Work alongside faculty members to help plan and implement a variety of strategies in the classroom in order to appropriately support and challenge all students.
  • Support the Head of the Middle School with teacher evaluations and professional development.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the School's mission and philosophy.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Education or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in teaching and learning support.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
