As a full-time English educator at Sage, you will teach gifted learners rigorous literature and language arts courses that foster advanced critical thinking, analysis, and communication.
You will collaborate closely within the Humanities department to design interdisciplinary projects, including long-term research and writing assignments, that integrate English with social studies and other disciplines.
Sage students engage with diverse texts, participate in Socratic seminars, and produce analytical and creative writing.
You will provide vertically differentiated instruction, ensuring all learners are appropriately challenged and supported as they develop into self-directed, independent thinkers.
Through collaboration with your Humanities colleagues, you will help create a cohesive curriculum that encourages students to make connections across disciplines, cultivate curiosity, and take intellectual risks.
This work prepares students for continued growth in middle school and beyond, including success in advanced secondary programs.
You may serve as a small-group or 1:1 tutor and/or an Upper School Advisor, providing consistent mentorship and support to foster students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
Guided by our mission, we encourage our diverse community of gifted students to engage in academic challenges, nurture their love of learning, and cultivate their humanity so they can serve, inspire, and create meaningful impact.
