We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in OpenText Intelligent Capture (formerly Captiva) and cloud migration (OpenText 24.x SaaS/Cloud) to lead the design, delivery and optimization of large-scale document capture and intelligent automation solutions. The role will be responsible for guiding a cross-functional team, shaping technical direction and ensuring successful migration from on-premise to cloud in a highly regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end technical design and delivery of OpenText Intelligent Capture / Captiva solutions, including configuration, customisation and integration with core banking and line-of-business systems.
Own the migration roadmap for Intelligent Capture 24.x from on-premise to cloud/SaaS, including assessment, architecture, migration waves, testing and cutover.
Define target cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS or SaaS) for capture platforms, ensuring scalability, resilience, performance and cost efficiency.
Provide hands-on leadership across the full engineering lifecycle (requirements, design, build, test, deploy and support), setting technical standards and best practices.
Collaborate with enterprise architects, security, infrastructure and business stakeholders to align capture and migration solutions with broader technology and business strategies.
Lead and mentor a team of developers/engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews and coaching on modern engineering practices.
Design and implement intelligent document processing capabilities, including omni-channel ingestion, classification, data extraction and validation, and human-in-the-loop exception handling.
Ensure solutions comply with security, risk, privacy and regulatory requirements relevant to the banking and insurance sector.
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
