This is a full-time remote job, available to anyone in South Africa.

Join a fast-growing IT services company as a key part of the frontline support team. In this entry-level role, you'll put your existing IT knowledge and skills to work by assisting users with common technical issues and supporting essential systems. You'll gain hands-on experience while contributing to the delivery of reliable day-to-day tech support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with IT tasks such as user management, password resets, and printer troubleshooting to support day-to-day client needs.
  • Manage incoming helpdesk tickets through voice and chat support, offering first-level troubleshooting and escalating as needed.
  • Utilize systems like Active Directory and Office 365 for user access updates, permissions, and account support.
  • Work closely with the FAST Team and tech leadership to build skills and gradually transition into more technical responsibilities over time.

Team and Environment:

Be a part of a dedicated IT team focused on long-term employee development and technical growth. You’ll work alongside the FAST Team and report within a supportive tech environment to build confidence and capability in IT support.

Requirements:

  • IT Knowledge: Comfortable using Microsoft 365, with some IT experience or relevant certification (such as CompTIA A+ or similar) that shows readiness for a career in tech.
  • Active Directory Knowledge: Active Directory knowledge is required.
  • Highly Organized: Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple support requests effectively.
  • Detail-Oriented: Focus on accuracy and precision, especially in user management and troubleshooting tasks.
