Hannah Senesh Community Day School, an open and inclusive K–8 Jewish independent school in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, is seeking a Part-Time (60%) K–4 Learning Specialist for the 2026–27 school year.
The Learning Specialist supports students with diverse learning needs in the Lower School through assessment, intervention, and collaboration. This role partners closely with the Student Support Team (SST), teachers, families, administrators, and external service providers to design and implement responsive support plans tailored to each student’s learning profile.
The Learning Specialist plays a central role in ensuring students receive appropriate, timely, and well-coordinated support aligned with the school’s values and best practices.
The Lower School Learning Specialist is a member of the SST and reports to the Lower School Director. We are looking for a reflective, collaborative, and student-centered educator with a strong growth mindset who thrives in a collaborative environment.
