High School Math Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Math Teacher who is passionate about inspiring students to develop strong mathematical skills and critical thinking abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a range of high school math courses, including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra 2, Statistics, Pre-Calculus.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that foster students' understanding of mathematical concepts and real-world applications.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Evaluate and track student progress, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Participate in school activities, events, and professional development to contribute to the NYMA community.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to develop cross-curricular projects and support a STEAM-focused educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field (preferred); Bachelor’s degree required.
• Certification: State teaching certification in mathematics (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
