Georgetown Day School, an independent, co-ed day school in Washington, D.C., seeks a Middle School Math teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Primary Responsibilities

• Teach four sections of middle school math.
• Serve as an advisor, supporting the academic and social well-being of a small group of students, and steward the family/school partnership

Additional Responsibilities

• Attend additional meetings and responsibilities beyond school hours, as needed
• Attends grade-level trips as assigned
• Fulfill other duties as assigned

• A bachelor's degree in math or related field is required
• A degree in education and/or experience teaching math at the middle or high school level is preferred
• A master's degree is preferred
• 3 or more years of teaching experience is strongly preferred
• Display a strong background in math pedagogy
• Enthusiasm for teaching middle schoolers
