Position Description
Under the direction of the Head of School and Assistant Head of School, the Middle School Science Teacher is responsible for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive Grades 6–8 science program. This includes instruction in Biology (Grade 6), Physics (Grade 7), and Chemistry (Grade 8).
The role calls for a dynamic educator who fosters an inquiry-driven, student-centered classroom and laboratory environment that emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application. The teacher integrates STEM principles throughout instruction, leveraging hands-on materials, engineering design processes, and interdisciplinary connections to prepare students for the academic rigor of high school science.
