Temporary Upper School Spanish Language Teacher

We seek an experienced educator who is passionate, collaborative, and reflective to join our World Language Department as an Upper School Spanish Language Teacher for the Spring Semester of the 2026-27 academic year.

The position requires active participation in our vibrant learning community and an educator who will inspire and support our students. The role also requires ongoing collaboration with teaching teams at the course and departmental level.

Iolani School is an Episcopal day and boarding school enrolling approximately 2,200 students on its K-12, 25-acre urban campus. We strive to create a learning environment where students of all backgrounds can reach their fullest potential.

• Bachelor’s degree in World Language Education (Spanish), Spanish Language, or related discipline.
• Minimum of three years of demonstrated experience teaching Spanish language in grades 7-12.
• Ability to demonstrate native or near-native competency in Spanish.
• Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Strong instructional practice and a genuine love of teaching within a mission-driven independent school environment.
