Varsity Cheer Coach

Lakehill Preparatory School seeks an energetic, enthusiastic, and highly dependable Varsity Cheer Coach for the 2026–2027 school year.

This role requires a leader who can build a positive team culture, promote school spirit, and develop student-athletes' skills in cheer, dance, and performance while maintaining a safe, encouraging environment.

The ideal candidate will be organized and committed to fostering teamwork, discipline, and confidence, and will plan and lead practices, coordinate game-day performances, support skill development, and prepare the team for the TAPPS State Cheer Competition.

The coach will also collaborate with the Middle School Cheer Coach to plan pep rallies and strengthen the program from middle school through varsity.

• A bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Prior coaching or cheerleading experience, preferably at the high school level
• Knowledge of cheer techniques, routines, and safety standards
• Strong leadership, communication skills, and attention to detail
• A positive, energetic presence and ability to motivate student-athletes
• A commitment to creating an inclusive and spirited team environment
