Seattle Academy seeks a Math Interventionist to join our faculty beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. This newly created role in the Math Department is designed to provide targeted instructional support across the math curriculum, working with students in both the Middle School and Upper School divisions.
The Math Interventionist will collaborate closely with classroom teachers to design lesson structures, scaffolds, and strategies that strengthen student engagement, comprehension, and success within their current math course.
The position, by design, spans multiple instructional contexts. Responsibilities may include teaching small-group math courses, co-teaching in classes ranging from (but not limited to) Math 7 through Algebra 1, and providing targeted push-in or pull-out support for students who benefit from additional scaffolding. This role is well-suited to an educator who excels at adapting instruction, collaborating closely with colleagues, and supporting students with diverse learning profiles.
