La Lumiere School is excited to welcome applications for the position of History Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching high school History and Social Sciences, likely including AP World History, World History 2, AP United States Government and Politics/Government and possible AP Comparative Government and Politics courses.
In the History & Social Sciences Department, we encourage students to think critically about history in order to foster students’ understanding of diverse cultural perspectives across different time periods.
We value knowledge of the past as a way to comprehend the present and future.
