The ideal candidate will have successful experience working with early childhood-aged children and their families. They should be adaptable, collaborative, proactive, personable, and warm.
WORK SCHEDULE
Working hours are generally 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday for reduced-time and 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday, Wednesday, Friday for part-time; occasional hours may be required in the evenings. Teachers are expected to attend faculty meetings on Thursdays from 3:45 PM until 5:00 PM.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Early Childhood Associate Teachers and Floater Teachers are responsible for working with the Head Teacher in overseeing the experiences of students in their classroom. While there are broad guidelines for curriculum, given the ages and developmental levels of the students, teachers are given significant latitude to adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of their particular students.
