About Bancroft School
Bancroft School, a PreK–12 independent day school in Worcester, Massachusetts, is dedicated to empowering students through active, inquiry-based learning. Our academic program builds intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence, preparing students to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the world. Founded in 1900, Bancroft is situated on a beautiful 30-acre campus in a residential neighborhood just north of downtown Worcester—a thriving city with a rich history and a promising future. Our 460 students come from over three countries and over 70 cities and towns across Massachusetts, bringing a wide range of backgrounds and experiences that enrich our inclusive learning environment.

Position Summary
Bancroft School seeks an energetic, flexible, and innovative Middle School/Upper School Librarian to join our service-oriented, student-centered library and educational technology program, which is fully integrated into the life of the school. This part-time position (20–25 hours per week with schedule flexibility) is for the 2026–27 academic year and will begin in late August 2026.
