The Archer School for Girls seeks a Humanities Teaching Apprentice for the 2026–2027 school year.
The Humanities Teaching Apprentice position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in teaching either English or History. We are looking for a candidate with a solid foundation in one of these subjects.
The Teaching Apprentice gains hands-on experience by working alongside a mentor teacher to build a repertoire of forward-thinking, student-centered instructional practices.
Ideal candidates have a growth mindset, a positive outlook, and a strong appreciation for the importance of contributing to a diverse and inclusive community. A passion for working with young people in a culture of teaching excellence is essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching with a mentor in your discipline
- Providing teaching coverage across the curriculum
- Participating in co-curricular school activities
- Providing administrative support as necessary
- Supporting Archer Signature programs
The Apprentice Program includes:
