We are seeking applicants for a full-time Upper School History Department faculty member for the 2026-27 school year beginning in August 2026.

Candidates should have experience with student-centered teaching, together with confidence and experience teaching History at the high school level. Candidates should also demonstrate a serious commitment to teaching writing and research. Courses will cover topics in modern world history and American history.
In addition to teaching classes, responsibilities include serving as an advisor, attending all required meetings and functions, upholding the school's values, and supporting students outside the classroom. Teachers embrace and uphold the school's values of diversity, equity, and inclusion; and they bring anti-racist practices into their classroom.
