Lower School Judaic Studies and Hebrew Language Teacher

This position will require instruction in Judaic language arts and various other disciplines of Jewish learning and teaching. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for education and a palpable love for and warmth with children while instructing students in the curricular areas of Torah, Hagim/Jewish Festivals, and T’filah/Prayer.

• integrating technology into typical classroom teaching practice and experience with teaching through digital platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)

• a commitment to fostering an inclusive and communal learning environment
• openness to professional reflection and feedback
• strong written and verbal communication skills, preferably in native Hebrew, and comfort communicating orally and in writing in English

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary or Early Childhood Education.
• (or 90-hour MSDE course for Junior K candidates) or a related field required, with a Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of successful, formal lead-teaching experience in a public or independent school.
