Summary

Nashoba Brooks School seeks an Associate Preschool and Extended Day Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time position in our multi-aged Preschool program. The Associate Preschool and Extended Day Teacher supports the morning preschool program by partnering with a lead teacher in a classroom. During the afternoon, the Associate Preschool and Extended Day Teacher supports the extended day program. Candidates for this position will demonstrate a passion for teaching young children, as well as a deep understanding of the social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of 3- and 4-year-olds. The successful candidate will possess the desire to work in a dynamic, student-centered school committed to continuous learning and excellence in 21st century education. Responsibilities

The Associate Preschool and Extended Day Teacher is responsible for:

  • Working closely with teaching and administrative staff to plan and implement curriculum and activities.
  • Providing a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for students.
  • Supporting the social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of students.
  • Communicating with parents and guardians about student progress and needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a preschool or extended day setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Passion for teaching and learning.
