Summary

Nashoba Brooks School seeks an Associate Transitional Kindergarten and Extended Day Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The associate transitional kindergarten and extended day teacher is a full-time position in our transitional kindergarten and extended day programs. The associate transitional kindergarten and extended day teacher works Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The associate transitional kindergarten and extended day teacher supports the transitional kindergarten program by partnering with a lead teacher in a classroom in the mornings and extended day in the afternoons. The successful candidate will possess the desire to work in a dynamic, student-centered school committed to continuous learning and excellence in 21st century education. Responsibilities

The associate transitional kindergarten and extended day teacher is responsible for:

  • Working closely with teaching and administrative staff to support the educational goals of the transitional kindergarten program.
  • Partnering with a lead teacher in a classroom in the mornings and extended day in the afternoons.
  • Supporting the development of students’ social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the School’s mission and values.
