Summary

Nashoba Brooks seeks a middle school STEAM teaching fellow for the 2026-2027 academic year who will co-teach Grade 4 mathematics, facilitate supervised study, and support effective integration of STEAM skills throughout the Middle School program. This is a 10-month position that reports directly to the director of educational technology and innovation. The hours of this position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

Responsibilities

The middle school STEAM fellow will be responsible for:

 

Teaching and Instructional Support

  • Communicating proactively and effectively with students and parents, including participating in parent/teacher conferences.
  • Participate as an active member of the Middle School teaching, Information Services, and Supervised Study teams to support effective curriculum development and implementation.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching team members, the director of academic support, and the school counselor to identify and address student learning needs.
  • Modify and adapt curriculum to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Support the development and implementation of STEAM-related projects and activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or related field.
  • Master’s degree in STEM field or related field preferred.
  • Experience in teaching and instructional support in a STEAM-related field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
