Middle School STEAM Fellow

Summary

Nashoba Brooks seeks a middle school STEAM teaching fellow for the 2026-2027 academic year who will co-teach Grade 4 mathematics, facilitate supervised study, and support effective integration of STEAM skills throughout the Middle School program. This is a 10-month position that reports directly to the director of educational technology and innovation. The hours of this position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

The middle school STEAM fellow will be responsible for:

• Teaching and Instructional Support
• Communicating proactively and effectively with students and parents, including participating in parent/teacher conferences.
• Participate as an active member of the Middle School teaching, Information Services, and Supervised Study teams to support effective curriculum development and implementation.
• Work collaboratively with teaching team members, the director of academic support, and the school counselor to identify and address student learning needs.
• Modify and adapt curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Assist with the development and implementation of STEAM-related programs and projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEAM-related field (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics).
• Master’s degree in a STEAM-related field or a related field (e.g., education, curriculum and instruction) is preferred.
• Teaching experience in a STEAM-related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
