Summary

Nashoba Brooks School seeks an Associate Transitional Kindergarten and Extended Day Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The associate transitional kindergarten and extended day teacher is a full-time position in our transitional kindergarten and extended day programs. The associate transitional kindergarten and extended day teacher works Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The associate transitional kindergarten and extended day teacher supports the transitional kindergarten program by partnering with a lead teacher in a classroom in the mornings and extended day in the afternoons. The successful candidate will possess the desire to work in a dynamic, student-centered school committed to continuous learning and excellence in 21st century education. Responsibilities

The associate transitional kindergarten and extended day teacher is responsible for:

• Working closely with teaching and administrative staff to ensure the smooth operation of the transitional kindergarten and extended day programs.
• Supporting the lead teacher in the classroom, providing assistance with lesson planning, implementation, and assessment.
• Developing and implementing engaging and challenging activities for students in the extended day program.
• Providing a safe and nurturing environment for students in both the transitional kindergarten and extended day programs.

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching and administrative staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environment.
