The Elisabeth Morrow School (EMS), a leader in education from early childhood through middle school, seeks energetic and knowledgeable substitute teachers for its Division of Early Learning.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with faculty to support students throughout the instructional day.
- Providing a caring and safe classroom experience for students.
- Modeling mindful language, compassion, and leadership.
- Performing additional teaching duties as assigned.
- Following any plans or units of instruction as indicated by classroom faculty.
Essential Qualifications include:
- At least two years of paid classroom experience working with children (ages 2–5 preferred).
- Able to work a minimum of standard business hours Monday–Friday.
- Demonstrating a deep respect for childhood and excitement for being a leader in teaching and learning.
- Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment.
- Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education a plus.
